What data do we collect?

The General Data Protection Regulation defines personal data as any information about an identified/identifiable natural person, for example, any information capable of identifying a person.

What are the purposes of the processing of personal data?

How long do we keep your data?

  • Contact: We will treat your data for the time necessary to address and resolve the request you have made to us and in any case for the minimum period necessary.
  • Commercial purposes and Newsletter: We will keep your data as long as we maintain your consent, ceasing the processing once you have withdrawn it.

To whom do we communicate your data?

GIE has partners who provide services, such as computer and web maintenance companies, legal services, and consulting services, which provide their services may access personal data under GIE’s responsibility.

GIE makes a careful selection and control of these third parties with whom it has signed data protection agreements, where they are obliged to comply with a series of obligations regarding data protection.

In addition, GIE can communicate the data of the interested parties to the judicial and administrative authorities that require it to do so by law.

Rights deriving from the processing of personal data

The User may exercise the following rights recognized in the RGPD against the Data Controller:

  • Right of access: This is the User’s right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not GIE is processing their personal data and, if so, to obtain information about their specific personal data and the processing that GIE has carried out or is carrying out, as well as, among other things, the information available about the origin of said data and the recipients of the communications made or planned for said data.
  • Right of rectification: This is the User’s right to have his/her personal data amended if it proves to be inaccurate or, taking into account the purposes of the processing, incomplete.
  • Right of erasure (“the right to be forgotten”): This is the right of the User unless otherwise provided by law, to obtain the erasure of his or her personal data when the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed; the User has withdrawn his or her consent to the processing and the processing has no other lawful basis; the User objects to the processing and there is no other legitimate reason to continue the processing; the personal data have been processed unlawfully; the personal data must be erased in compliance with a legal obligation; or the personal data have been obtained as a result of a direct offer of information society services to a person under 14 years of age. Where technically feasible, the Controller shall transmit the data directly to that other controller.

  • Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling: This is the User’s right not to be subject to an individualized decision based solely on automated processing of his or her personal data, including profiling, unless otherwise provided by law.

Therefore, the User may exercise his/her rights by means of a written communication addressed to the Data Controller to the e-mail address contact@ginvestmentes.com specifying:

  • Name, surname(s) of the User, and copy of ID card/passport or identification card. In those cases in which representation is admitted, it will also be necessary to identify the person representing the User by the same means, as well as the document accrediting the representation.
  • Request with the specific reasons for the request or information to be accessed.
  • Address for notification purposes.
  • Date and signature of the applicant.
  • Any document that accredits the request being made.

Personal data of minors

Only persons over 14 years of age may give their consent to the lawful processing of their personal data by GIE.

In the case of a minor under 14 years of age, the consent of the parents or guardians is required for the processing, and the processing will only be considered lawful to the extent that the parents or guardians have given their consent.

What are the rights of your data, and how to exercise them?

You may revoke at any time the authorization granted for the processing of your data, as well as exercise your rights of access, rectification, opposition, limitation, deletion, portability, and not to be subject to automated decisions by writing to GIE at the email address contact@ginvestmentes.com.

How can you enforce your data protection rights?

In any case, you can always contact the data protection authority to safeguard your rights which in the case of Spain is the Spanish Data Protection Agency www.aepd.es.

It is necessary that the User has read and agrees with the conditions on the protection of personal data contained in this Privacy Policy, as well as that he/she accepts the processing of his/her personal data so that the Data Controller can proceed in the manner, during the periods and for the purposes indicated.
